Making a Difference
From Playground to Golf Course:
Creating India's Golf Future
Empowering Students Through Sport, Skill and Strategy.
Our Objectives
Bringing Golf to the Masses
Partnering with schools to introduce golf as an affordable, approachable activity for children of all backgrounds — developing grassroots programs, providing affordable equipment, and training local coaches.
Imparting Employability Skills
Students develop essential soft skills such as decision-making, teamwork, hand-eye coordination, and balance — improving confidence and future employability.
Job Creation & Economic Opportunity
Creating a sustainable ecosystem that generates jobs for caddies, coaches, range staff, maintenance teams, and equipment suppliers from economically weaker sections.
Promoting Inclusivity
Golf is one of the few sports accessible to children with disabilities. Our program is designed to teach and engage special children, offering them inclusion and accomplishment.
Our Story
The TGR Journey
From 5 schools in 2019 to 20,000+ students reached today — six years of building India's grassroots golf ecosystem.
The Beginning
Started with programs in 5 schools, introducing golf as a medium to inspire and educate students.
Adapting to Challenges
Despite the pandemic, TGR pivoted to expand into sports clubs and condominiums, ensuring continuity of the mission.
Expanding Reach
Established presence in schools, resorts, clubs and condominiums — with over 30,000 students trained in just three years.
Innovations & Milestones
Introduced simulator-based classes for year-round accessibility and organised tournaments for participants.
Partnership with Magic Bus
Partnered with Magic Bus under Project Sahaas to train underprivileged girls — first pilot of 500 girls — making golf accessible to marginalised communities.
R&A and IGU Collaboration
Royal & Ancient and the IGU collaborated with TGR to expand golf across India — awareness created in 20,000+ students across 25+ schools, with over 2,000 students having gone through the TGR training program.
Caddy to Coach
EWS to ESS — Economically Weaker Section to Employable Stronger Skills
One of our key initiatives, "Caddy to Coach" provides free training to transform caddies into professional golf coaches. The program includes:
- Technical Training
- Code of Conduct
- Student Engagement

Women Empowerment
Not even 2% of current golf professional trainers are women. Women have shown exceptional and equal talent and drive to learn, play and coach this sport.
This initiative aligns with India's mandate for higher women empowerment. Our trainers go through rigorous on-site and technology training.
